Setting Out
As a
priest you have been dispatched to re-establish a church in the
"ghastly swamp". Take with you the only survivor of
the old settlement, the Lady Eva. Take your boat, spear, and
find the ruins of the old church. It is said to be on solid
land somewhere in the swamp. Subdue any creatures in the
immediate area, and re-consecrate the old alter.
To assist you on this quest the
High priest has issued you a magical spear and a few magical gems.
They will be checking in on you weekly via astral projection, to see
when and if you accomplish the mission. If the mission is
successful a team of wizards will be sent to set up a gate.
Then the equipment for an Alchemist's lab will be brought through so
healing potions can be produced. Use the character listed
below.

The lady will make sure you don't get lost (ITL page 23-24) and can supply food from the natural wildlife daily. The swamp is a place where hunters fill their bags, fishermen always get a catch, and where alligators, deer, snakes, birds, rabbits, bears, squirrels, and frogs make their homes.
