As the guest begin to congregate the Warlocks got together and started whispering in serious tones. After a few minutes being of one mind, they moved to a tall hill besides the lake. It was here that they began summoning many of the other guests.
Now this was not a typical summons. The portal was far out over the lake, and the other Locks had trouble reaching it. But it worked and the effect was spectacular.
A Tauren guest wearing a newly pressed tuxedo appeared and promptly dropped straight into the lake with a loud “splash.”
Many other guests came running over surprised and helped the Tauren out of the water. Some asked the Warlocks “Why” and others tried to scold them. But they remained serious. Trying their best not to laugh out loud.
15 more guests were summoned in just this way.
There was the occasional challenge for a duel, but the Warlocks stayed at their task till all the guests had arrived.
