This is not good bye,

It is Fare Thee Well.

This is the official Deq “Fare Thee Well” web page

Accept no substitutes.

I would only ask that you link it to the Silver Hand forums for me.

If you have read my threads on the forums, here is something for you

that you may never have seen before. At least not from me.

:)

Where to start. So much Love, so much Fun . . .

Ah yes of course,

Before you all rush off to forget me,

assuming I even existed to begin with,

this is how I would like,

to be not remembered.

If it's too much to ask,

that's fine too.

Now onto the relevant stuff to me.

I know you all are probably only interested in the drama.

But indulge a Forsaken for a .... ah never mind. Just skip down a bit.

Baroso I'm terribly sorry about the DHK.

World PvP in the form of the Hell Ride has been Awesome.

Too bad I was arguing with someone in Vent,

and didn't notice I was killing a civilian by the Tunnel leaving Loch Modan.

But Dark Shore was good, wasn't it?

I mean no one in the raid killed the civilian on the docks.

Did they ?

Doh.

Maybe we did.

Anyway...

I saw cool things happen to cool people.

I saw grief and drama hit everyone.

I saw the Horde struggle and win...

And I saw the Horde dominate!

I got to kill Pantzeri.

And I even got a Hug from Kierstien.

[ screen shot of hug lol ]

Drama here,

Skip down no further.

I am an imperfect being with dreams.

As we all know before one can make their dreams real

we have to wake up and get to work.

For me this dream is the Heaven of the Vikings.

Valhalla.

That place where one can fight all day and at the end of the day they are still whole.

MMO's are Valhalla.

And Word of Warcraft is the best one I've ever seen.

An actual war game company makes a balanced combat system.

This is something that has never been seen before.

And whether you agree with that or not,

It has been evident to me that skill plays a large part in pvp.

I guess that just about now people are thinking things like

this isn't drama,” or

no one is debating skill vs. gear.”

Ok.

Raiders vs. Casuals.

I formed the ultimate casual guild.

I asked Oreh to lead it.

He demoted everyone, and stopped showing up for raids.

Then he started packing the ranks with people no one knew,

and he was never on.

In a word...

He turned Dust into a spam filled raiding guild.

What happened to making people hang out with us in Vent first?

What happened to “if you invite them, you have to feed them.”

What happened to pvp'ing with them first to see if they were any good.

When confronted with reinstating Sizhan with the power to invite guild members,

Oreh talked and talked and talked, and never did it.

When I told him in guild chat to give me the leadership of the guild back,

A cascade of voices in guild said “If Oreh leaves” they would too.

Well, I don't know any of you, and now I don't care too.

Sizhan had been a personal friend since the day of DaoC.

And now, I don't care to play this game any more.

The utter lack of respect for my years of support to this community

by a bunch of people I have never even heard of

from within the walls of the most humble of all casual guilds ever “Dust”

is just too G D much. It broke my heart.

I don't have the strength to care any more.

So to you All ...

Fare Thee Well.

A blessing on all your houses.

It has been too much fun.

The End.

Oh and here...

Bewbies!
